Finding Sydney to photograph our wedding was an absolute blessing. She not only went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful selection of very professional photos - she was also very active in helping out however she could to ensure our event was a success and everyone where they needed to be on time. From the engagement shoot to the wedding, she went above and beyond to make sure our entire experience was a success, while capturing every moment in the photos. Her photos came out great, with a great variety of shots both traditional, and reflective of her unique and interesting style. Above all, she was the perfect combination of chill, relaxed and down to earth but also focused, productive and professional. We cannot say better things about Sydney! She took our desires, opinions and feelings about photography at our wedding very seriously. Before the event, we had several chats with Sydney about what we wanted to include, avoid, and what general feel we were looking for from the photography at our wedding. On the day of, as the bride and groom we had so much going on, but we had nothing to worry about with the Sydney, she calmly and nicely directed us through each of the moments without taking much time out of our day or disrupting the flow of the activities. We were very focused on having mostly “natural” photos from the event, and Sydney was very respectful of this decision, while also recommending a few key moments where some posed/curated photos would be beneficial to capture. Sydney made us feel so comfortable, and we will cherish the pictures from our wedding forever- they truly capture the essence of the day and of our friends and family.
