Boulder Flatirons Fall Engagement | Shaina + Issac
Shaina and Isaac’s engagement session at the Flat Irons Vista Trail was nothing short of magical, especially with the warm hues of fall blanketing the landscape. The Flatirons, with their towering rock formations and golden autumn leaves, provided the perfect backdrop for this adventurous couple. Their love story is one of those that makes you believe in fate—meeting at the end of 2018 while traveling, despite living in different cities. Shaina was based in Colorado, and Isaac was in New York City, but the connection was instant. They spent a few years navigating long-distance before finally settling down together in Boulder in 2021. Their favorite memory from that time? Adopting their dog, Bagel, who has been a big part of their journey ever since.
From the very beginning of their session, it was clear that Shaina and Isaac’s bond runs deep. They both have a passion for the outdoors, spending as much time as possible backpacking and exploring the mountains. It’s in those wild spaces that they feel most like themselves, so it made perfect sense for them to choose the iconic Flatirons as the location to capture their engagement photos. The stunning backdrop of rocky peaks and vast open meadows was not just a setting, but a reflection of who they are as a couple.

They even had Bagel come to the shoot and we had him sign their marriage license, which was such a fun idea. Only in Colorado can your dog marry you!
